Sometimes the space for storage isn’t as big or as straightforward as you might like. We have recently designed a shoe cupboard for a shallow space and a storage cupboard in a downstairs toilet where the position of the sink meant it was necessary to use bi-fold doors.

Height is sometimes an issue which is what we encountered with the low beam in the cloak cupboard shown below.
