Our clients wanted a breakfast bar which could be moved when more kitchen space is required.

We designed this solid oak pedestal table and they are delighted with it. We needed to use a lot of traditional craftsmanship to produce this – starting with rough sawn oak planks.

The wood was turned by a retired craftsman we have known for years who now works from his shed at his Derby home. He hasn’t got the most modern machinery but he certainly knows how to turn wood. Sometimes, there is no substitute for traditional skills.
